How it all started...
Terry and Mary Anne Crocker came to Springfield, VT to begin an outreach endeavor as part of a program called "Extended Now." The couple were students of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. A mission named "The Springfield Chapel" began with 15 present members on June 30, 1974.
Aubrey and Peggy Jones moved from Mississippi to serve the new mission in Springfield, VT. Under their leadership, the mission grew to Precision Valley Baptist Church at a new location: 67 VT-106, North Springfield, VT. The church was established in June 4, 1978.

Where we are headed...
Mauricio and Ashley Martins came to Precision Valley Baptist Church in January 22, 2023. Although Mauricio is originally from Brazil, the couple met in Fort Worth, TX at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After almost a decade of studies, God called them to serve in Vermont.
Pastor Martins has a heart for the community and has led the church to a new chapter of growing deep in the Word of God so each member can be presented mature in Christ. The goal of the church's spiritual growth is intentional for equipping the saints for the work of the Great Commission.
